Overview

GeoProof Camera (M-GEOC proof engine) is a geo-tag proof camera app. It helps users capture photos, videos, and PDF proof reports with location, date, time, coordinates, proof IDs, hashes, and QR proof seals.

Data the app accesses

• Camera: Used to capture proof photos and videos.
• Microphone: Used only when recording proof videos with audio.
• Location: Used to stamp latitude, longitude, accuracy, date, time, and location names onto proof media and reports.
• Files and media: Used to save proof photos, videos, PDF reports, QR proof data, and sidecar proof metadata on the device.

How data is used

The data is used to create user-requested geo-tagged proof records. GeoProof Camera stores proof files locally on the user's device and in user-requested exports such as Pictures, Downloads, and shared files.

Sharing

GeoProof Camera does not sell personal or sensitive user data. The app shares files only when the user taps the share action and chooses another app or service. The selected third-party app or service handles the shared file according to its own policies.

Accounts, ads, and background tracking

GeoProof Camera does not create user accounts, does not include ads, does not use background location tracking, and does not upload proof files to M-UTILITIES servers.

Retention and deletion

Proof photos, videos, PDF reports, and proof metadata remain on the user's device until the user deletes them from the app storage, gallery, downloads, or file manager. If a file is shared outside the app, deletion from the user's device may not delete copies held by the selected third-party app or recipient.

Security

GeoProof Camera creates proof hashes and QR proof seals to help users identify whether a proof file matches its saved metadata. Users should protect their device and shared files because exported media can contain location and time information.

Children

GeoProof Camera is not directed to children. Users should not use the app to capture or share sensitive images of other people without proper permission.
